2 - Reflection on Webbing Process, Tuesday, April 8
1. I think the webbing process helped me find a topic because:
  • It helped me narrow down my list by helping me see which ideas had the most information.
  • It allowed me to see my information.
  • It allowed me to think of topics to use.

3 - Why I Chose This Topic and What I Know About My Topic, Tuesday, April 8
1. Topic: Battle of Tours
2. Why you chose it: It was a major event and I liked the timeset of the battle.
3. What you already know about your topic: Battle was located in france, bettween franks and musilms, and the franks win the battle.

4 - Pre-Notetaking Activity, Wednesday, April 9
1. Brainstorm a list of questions related to your topic.
  • Who was the attacking army?
  • Who had the most men?
  • Who was better trained, Franks or Arabs?
  • Who attacked first? and how?

You need more skinny questions.

5 - Reflections on Pre-Notetaking, Wednesday, April 9
1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas? I found that the pre-notetaking sheet was very helpful. I found it difficult to make a fat question on a battle.
